“W.I.Y.K was pleased to take part in the Barcelona Food Waste Hackathon on 15th-16th June 2018.
The Hackathon was a great success in the ongoing development of W.I.Y.K, which is the APP that knows “what´s in your kitchen”.
Our involvement in the Hackathon provided us with invaluable information and direction on how to get our customers to think more about food consumption and shopping, and also about waste management.
We found the quality of people present at the Hackathon and their knowledge of food waste to be of a very high calibre. Also the quantity and scope of creative ideas that evolved and the feedback on the presentations, were high points of the Hackathon.
